<pre>The work around is to export as TIFF, and then go into some other program and
convert the TIFF file to PNG (the final program that needs what I create in LO
Draw can't read TIFF, just PNG).
So me and everyone who has ever downloaded my carefully crafted LO Draw
templates containing transparent effects:

must now wait an interminable amount of time before jumping on the 7.0x LO
bandwagon when this bug is fixed, or forever remain on 6.4.x and employ an
extra step post-production to convert the images to PNG.</pre>
