May be similar to <a class="bz_bug_link bz_status_UNCONFIRMED " title="UNCONFIRMED - Exported PDF files are too big" href="show_bug.cgi?id=128978">bug 128978</a>. There is also a problem with exporting as pdf to a NAS: LO crashes instead of writing the file — again, not experienced with v.6.0.4.2.
