<pre>It's interesting that in 2012, the submitter gave 5 seconds as an example of a
long time to save for a big document.
In 2020, I find that saving a big document can often take 30 seconds.
Which means that if I'm not looking at the screen while I'm typing and autosave
kicks in, I can lose whole sentences, even a paragraph. I have experienced
that. Fortunately, most of the paragraph is fresh enough in my mind that I can
usually remember most of it.</pre>
