I get always the Drawing group expanded. Or am I missing something (?)
steps:
* insert text
* select paragraph
* apply Paragraph Style: Caption
* apply any of its sub styles (that do not differ in terms of formatting)
* apply figure
* apply drawing
* both appear expanded
