not intensively tested, but looks like: 

calc cares about overpaste only on it's own source, only same version! 

calc cares about content - value vs. formulae - only on it's own source, only
same version! 

everyting else is pasted as string or numeric value ... only exception i could
find quickly, from Ex$el 2010 to calc you can at least copy simple formulas,
not in the other direction ... 

much space for improvements ... 

@xisco: imho OP meant he's 'migrating' and is converting files ...</pre>
