<pre>I see some strange installer problems recently. This one is also mentioned in:
<a href="https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/259118/">https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/259118/</a>
But also see <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Online update does not handle the situation of "online update" feature not being installed gracefully"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=132901">tdf#132901</a>, which shows a different installer problem.
Given that we didn't change installer logic in the last iteration (6.4 -> 7.0),
I have a gut feeling this is related to <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEW "
title="NEW - Policy on converting Perl scripts to Python"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=130911">tdf#130911</a> and its conversion of Perl
