As your Adobe Reader is an older version, I wasnt able to test it.
But with the current version 2020.012.20041 and LibreOffice 7.1alpha (August
14th) I still had the same Problem.
Could you test one of the attached "broken" pdfs with your Reader Version
and/or test if the pdf you created with LibreOffice works for you with the
current version of Adobe Reader?
