I opened the .docx file in writer, then scrolled down to the shape (it is a grouped shapes). pressed Crtl - c to copy. went to Impress, right clicked on a slide, clicked paste. It crashed again. All libreoffice modules crashed. After restarting everything, I opened the impress file and it appears that the shape is copied correctly and everything is working fine. I tried the same sccenario with a shape that I created using writer, then I copied it to Impress, everything is working smooth.
