<pre>This is a LibreOffice feature that's desired by many Chinese/Japanese users.
Maybe in general Korean users don't like it, but it can be easily disabled.
In the format dialog of either direct formatting (Format > Paragraph menu item)
or style-based formatting (select the style used in the sidebar, right-click
and choose Modify), there is a tab "Asian Typography", uncheck the option
"Apply spacing between Asian and non-Asian text", and the gap you have seen
will be gone.</pre>
