Same symptoms as the colleagues had: copy pasting failed after first copying out of writer. From then on, no external clipboard content could be pasted into documents. Only cure was to restart soffice.bin, while finishing it off could no longer be done with measures aboard; instead a taskkill was necessary to get rid of the running processes. In particular, I had missed the necessity to reboot after the first try installation.
