On my system I have never seen the "artifacts" or "garbled icons" as described
in <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_UNCONFIRMED "
title="UNCONFIRMED - Garbled icons on Libreoffice 7.0 x64, Windows 10 build 19041.450 (Vulkan)"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=136036">bug #136036</a> and <a class="bz_bug_link

title="UNCONFIRMED - Libre Office Launcher gets weird artifacts around the recent file images (Vulkan)"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=136407">bug #136407</a> with any version of LO 7.x, neither with the
current version of the nVidia driver nor with the previous one. I cannot
reproduce this bug.
Perhaps it only happens on some of nVidia's chipsets, but not all?
Regarding the topic of this thread.
I must have been bit too bored this evening :-) so I tried out some more dev
builds and found that with 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64) of 2020-10-06 and 2020-10-08
the graphics still freezes on minimize->maximize, but with the builds dated
2020-10-09 and 2020-10-10 I can't reproduce the problem anymore. So I guess one
of the modifications made in Build ID 75030b3a2d4336c494fbe799fb809a37ed7e582f
of 2020-10-09 must have the side effect of curing this problem, at least for
me.
