<pre>You are writing about SQL tool. Did you create and input values through Tools →
SQL? Or do you use the GUI table editor?
What is the format for the date-field if you are opening the table for editing,
not for input data? You have to look at the bottom of the table-dialog for the
properties of the field.
I couldn't see any bug here. I will only get wrong dates if I try to input
totally wrong formatted values in the table.
Tested with LO 7.0.2.2 on OpenSUSE 15.1 64bit rpm Linux with internal HSQLDB.</pre>
