At one stage I also had a document which locked up when opening it too. It appears to be related to the lock-ups reported in the attached docs, as it happened after a lock-up when editing it. OpenOffice did't crash when opening this file, so I could delete the TOC and after that the lock-up on opening it with LibO didn't happen. Unfortunately I've not been able to reproduce that one since. If I do I'll attach another file. Perhaps I also ought to say it looks as if I'm going to have to edit the TOC in my 'real' document manually to get the page numbers right.
