There is no problem to use Sqlite through ODBC. Must also work with the
Thunderbird addressbook.
There is reported only one (unconfirmed) bug:
<a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_UNCONFIRMED "
title="UNCONFIRMED - SQLite/ODBC: LibreOffice fails Unicode compliance with multi-byte characters, such as emoji, for example 😂"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=131238">https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131238</a>
For normal users the connection through ODBC isn't as easy as the direct
connection with the old driver for Thunderbird.</pre>
