This sounds like it *might* be an issue further down in the printing stack and
worth taking a look what happens there.
If it's still an issue, the following might help to narrow it down:
1) set 'LogLevel debug' in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf
2) restart CUPS
3) print from LO as decribed here
4) attach the CUPS log file (or relevant parts for the last print process
thereof here)
5) attach the file that LibreOffice generated for printing, which should be
located at '/var/spool/cups/d<PRINT_JOB_ID>-001' (replace "<PRINT_JOB_ID>" with
actual job ID)</pre>
