<pre>Thorsten Behren’s patch is based on the (false) assumption that “daß” is no
longer valid, which is why this patch is required. But since the assumption is
wrong, there is no more necessity.
Therefore: This patch – which in reality is not necessary at all – is not
needed by anyone and only hinders those who stick to the traditional spelling.
