<pre>Transparency is already available. Menu Format > Line (in Draw), tab Line.
Multicolor gradient is a missing ODF feature, which needs to be implemented. It
is missing in shape filling already.
As workaround to get such drawing, you can draw a thick line, then convert it
to Contour, and then fill it with a bitmap.
Could you please describe, where I can find "inking" in MS Office? An please
add a document that uses it. The question is, whether that are still lines or
they are silently converted to filled shapes.</pre>
