I'd like to add to the call for the ability to change the background color for
comments. It seems like a basic feature that users should have control over.
Currently, the default for me is yellow, with no way to alter that (except to
first create a dummy document under a different name, as another user has
cleverly pointed out). Why is that? I found this thread by searching online for
how to change the comment color. Apparently this has been something users have
been requesting since 2013; as of this writing, it's 2021 and there is still no
solution. Is this a request that is likely to ever become reality, or is this
just a dead-end thread?
