        <pre>On pc Debian x86-64 with LO Debian package 7.0.4, no pb to open the xls file
with gen or gtk3 rendering.
You installed Ubuntu 20.10 but only after having erased the disk or just did
the upgrade only?

If last case, could you try <a href="https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps">https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps</a>
as indicated in my previous comment?
Indeed, if you just upgraded, you kept your LO directory profile, so if it
contains something buggy, it's expected you'll still have the pb.</pre>
