The bug you linked is pretty similar to what I've reported.
In fact, my current problem would be solved if hyperlinks could be added in the
dialog, as described in the linked article, e.g. for tables of contents.
However, one thing would still not be possible: If I wanted to manually link
the index entry NOT to the page, but to another target (e.g. a website). I can
do that by allowing manual editing of the index and inserting the desired links
using the "normal" hyperlink function. But as soon as I update the index using
the "Update index" function, the manually inserted links are gone.
Or am I wrong?</pre>
