it shows two bugs manifesting: <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_NEEDINFO "
title="NEEDINFO - Format painter inappropriately applies paragraph style"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=142857">bug 142857</a> and this one. w.r.t. to this bug,
notice how the text box is focused; then some characters are selected; then I
press the format painter ("clone formatting") button - and immediately the
selection is lost, the cursor is gone, the focus is gone. Never mind what
happens later, that part is the other bug.</pre>
