<pre>"which requires a reboot: the entire system or only Libreoffice."

It was a reboot of the entire system, my Windows 10 PC. After rebooting my
entire PC, I attempted to restart LibreOffice and recover my files, but
encountered the bug which had reset LibreOffice to a default state (as if just
barely installed), and didn't allow for file recovery.

"how many times do you need to turn the sleep function on and off?"

This was over a three day period, and I unfortunately can not give you a
precise number. I would guess that it would've been approximately twenty sleep
functions since my computer goes into sleep mode when not used after 15
minutes.</pre>
