Menu Data > Define Range. Enter Name, Add, OK. Later, in case not already marked, go to Menu Data > Select Range. After the area is marked, enable Autofilter by menu Data > Autofilter. Define Range has it's own help (via F1) <a href="https://help.libreoffice.org/7.3/en-US/text/scalc/01/12010000.html">https://help.libreoffice.org/7.3/en-US/text/scalc/01/12010000.html</a> but it doesn't explain or link use in filter.
