        <pre>I think the Ctrl key handling in LO+KDE is to blame.

Press Ctrl+S and you will see 2 save dialogs, to save twice

As a workaround, Shift+Insert pastes only once (but you need to get used to).

IMHO: this bug may be at the root of many LO+KDE misbehavior, where for example
Ctrl+Z will undo 2 commands instead of 1 and can confuse user.</pre>
