Indeed LO ppa only propose 7.1.6 as the most recent LO version for the moment (see <a href="https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/ppa">https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ubuntu/ppa</a>) Have in mind that deb and rpms from TDF are more for distrib maintainers who check dependencies and prepare packaging for repositories of the distribs.
