I.e., *if* the path only uses characters representable in current Windows codepage, then it should be possible to use such paths with Firebird DB. Still, the issues mentioned in <a href="show_bug.cgi?id=125286#c9">comment 9</a> would prevent from use of paths with characters not representable in the active Windows codepage.
