I have no idea which machine you were referring to above, and what "problem"
that persisted. Is this a 7.1.6 installation that couldn't start before? If
so, I agree with Timur's <a href="show_bug.cgi?id=144492#c6">comment #6</a> that this may be a damaged installation.

This is a completely different and unrelated issue. It has been discussed
extensively in <a class="bz_bug_link
bz_status_RESOLVED bz_closed"
title="RESOLVED NOTABUG - CALC AutoFill "autocompletion" is broken in 7.2"
href="show_bug.cgi?id=143960">bug 143960</a>. The old behavior should be more-or-less restored in
7.2.1 release.
Please don't mix different issues in the same bug report. File a new report if
you want to discuss other issues.</pre>
