for what I undestand "no longer supported" doesn't necessarily mean that  
new LibO versions won't work in those old O/S. I think it means that if a  
bug will limit usability of LibO on that particular O/S it won't be fixed.  
did you try install 4.0.3 on your Win2000 machine?
