Lionel would need to comment, but with just the final bug-fix release pending, IMHO it is not going to make it into 4.2
Suspect this is one of those issues that really can not, and should not be back ported--as simply too much of the infrastructure in base changed between 4.2 and 4.3--pushing it back to 4.2 with minimal testing this late in its cycle would leave it vulnerable to nasty regression.

If not, then Base 4.2.7 is not of much use to anyone with complex forms.
FYI: it involved a subform which had a subform. Whether it is back ported or
not, it does need to be mentioned in the release notes as a problem that is
not solved until 126.96.36.199.
What is the bug number? Sometimes a fix was not backported, because
the author did not have a 4.2 build to test and did not care that much
about the old stable branch. If this was the case, then we can still
Here are three bug report numbers: 72696, 82150, 82720. The first of these was mine and based upon 188.8.131.52 beta 2. (Bug 82151 is similar and has a list of 8 duplicate bug reports.)
