The appearance bug is already reported by Marina in #81920 
(https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81920). I hope, I will 
find the time tomorrow to confirm it and open a bug for the missing 
MediaWiki option page, if it is still in the next daily build ... ;)
