As long as the comment moving all to the maj.min version includes the
original version (or even adds it as a whiteboard item, I don't see need
for having the versions available.

But of course knowing the "exact" (in quotes, as not necessarily really
oldest version, but at least you know that relase suffered from it) version
without digging through history is nice...
