            + let's merge the icon if people happy with the look (Kendy)

        + the split button was considered during the original design of the feature, but decided to
          have a separate button to make the feature more visible (Jay/Kendy)
    + should the button change from "Open Remote File" to "Remote Files"? (Heiko)
