[Libreoffice-ux-advise] drawing toolbar interactions

Hi,
I know, I'm not a "normal" user, but I see no problem in the current
behavior. It is a nice feature in Draw and Impress, that *I* can decide,
whether I will use a tool permanently or not.
Especially text boxes I nearly never use in permanent mode, and when I
need several other objects of the same kind, I often duplicate them. So
I would like to stay with the current behavior.

If you are using the mouse, clicking the "Selection" icon is one way to
stop permanent mode. But because users are used to toggling icons, it
might be handy, when the permanent mode is finished and work turns to
selection mode, when you click a second time on the icon, which is in
permanent mode.
Using 'Escape' is always possible and suitable when working with
keyboard only, but not handy, when you currently draw with the mouse.
Kind regards
Regina
