Hi guys,
I was just digging through the large pieces of artwork that are left
lying around in icon-themes to try to clean it up a bit [ which makes me
wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to have an easy-hack to remove all
un-referenced icons - I'll file it :-) ], when I stumbled upon this
horror/old/seagulls 'vendor01.png'.
It seems to be set-able by a thesaurus wanting to enable vendor images
(or somesuch), and the lingucfg appears to have a load of vendor
themable images tweak-able by extensions; and I wondered:
+ does anyone recall the history of this / what it's for ?
+ do any extant thesaurus extensions (proprietary or not)
actually use this functionality ?
If not, then I guess I could push the attached, otherwise I suppose we
need to re-think (and in the worst case re-work vendor.png ;-). I wonder
if it is some marketing scheme to encourage commercial thesaurus
providers ? or ...
Thanks,
Michael.
