Have opened  fdo#62028 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62028>  
specifically to look at doing the port of the AOO work, please review and
set NEW if it looks correct.

Also  fdo#56696 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56696>   is an
enhancement request to preferentially  show the recent documents of the
current LibreOffice component rather than all documents.

And lastly,  fdo#61174 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61174>  
is an enhancement request for a more comprehensive change to the recent
documents handler.
