Yes, the current bug decide for the user what is the best for him. I prefer a
solution more versatile which give the user the ability to adapt the UI to its
needs and taste.
I agree that my proposition requires probably more work to be implemented, but
once that is done, you can do what you want with sidebar and the toolbars.
