I do agree in general that styles should be pushed over direct formatting, as i
had personally been using ms word for many years without learning about styles
and only understood it when i learned css. We should be promoting features to
our users that help them make well formatted documents, even if they dont fully
understand the concept. I think microsoft did a good job in exposing styles in
its ribbon UI, to bring emphasis to its usage.

I think synonyms should also not be displayed when multiple words are selected.

I think the list of pre-defined styles found in the drop down are a good place
to start, along with the list of applied styles.

There are entries in 'change case' that dont function well without the
selection of multiple words - e.g. Sentence case, Capitalize Every Word. Also
noticed that the list doesnt include camel case, small capitals or drop caps.
