[Libreoffice-ux-advise] Letter Wizard behavior

[Not sure which list would be best for this:]

I observe that at least two things have changed with the Letter Wizard
("File - Wizards - Letter...") from LO 3.6 to (at least recent) LO 4,
and I have no idea whether that was intentional or by accident.

1 The templates are no longer localized. For example, current
share/template/common/wizard/letter/bus-elegant_l.ott always contains an
anglo-formatted date, while LO 3.6
share/template/wizard/letter/*/bus-elegant_l.ott formatted it
differently for the different locales.

2 When you "Finish" the wizard dialog, you now always get prompted with
a "Save" dialog to specify where to save myLetterTemplate.ott. (And if
you "Cancel" that dialog "The file already exists. Do you want to
overwrite it?" which clearly is a bug, no?)

Can anybody quickly refresh me if this has been discussed in the past?

Thanks,
Stephan
