+1 on this feature

It is a waste of an excellent interface that you can only use it once per
session (unless you only work on one document at a time...)

A suggestion: assign Ctrl+\ (a fast left hand combination) to open a new Start
Center and add to the menu under File > Open Start Center (possibly before
Open)
