Not all people immediately see Caps Lock is on, for example on a laptop the LED
light for Caps Lock might be absent or easily overlooked.

At least an option to show the current state is desirable.

For Insert, I agree with you that's not really useful :) In fact, I don't even
like Insert and when I use it, it's by accident and I turn it off immediately.
