List of functions accordings headings in the Navigator

Your last comments induced me to examine the functions around clicking on and
expanding and collapsing of headings in the Navigator a bit more. The result is
quite a long list of functions. I add this list as an attachment to this bug
report. 

In the list I also inserted some proposals for improvements. These proposal are
marked with different colours. Perhaps some of you may take a bit of time to
have a look at this list and comment my proposals.
