+1 for the mono-chrome TDF defined gray 7 / 8 / 2 / 1

perhaps complemented for 5.0 with an accent color (other than current TDF Green
used in 4.x)  for a reshuffled document corner motif, and flashed in the About
panel?

@Andreas,  you might want to spin out a mockup29 to use Adolfo's Recent
Document icon--see bug 91911
