The current "shift-click" for toggling visibility might be extended for the
other properties. For example Ctrl-click for toggling protection and alt-click
for toggling printable. The status can be shown in the tab with font style
italic for protected and inverse color for not printable.

You might want to follow the discussion in issue 90244, which is about
enhancing the Navigator.
