hi niklas. 
i use windows xp and its very great for me. 
i tried your way for checking use libreoffice dialog for openning and saving
files. 
but i am very comfortable with windows dialog in openning and saving files and
this option was always unchecked for me. 
but when i checked it and tried to test, it was okay without problem. 
the problem is only for openning a files when use libreoffice dialog unchecked
for me. 
do you mean that libreoffice developers decided to stop supporting windows xp
in version 5.2? and do you know the time for release of version 5.2?
