Thank you Heiko Tietze for your fantastic suggestion that “the input method
belongs to the OS/DE, in my opinion”. This would enable this to work across all
applications.

How can GNOME and KDE be advised of this as:

The Document Foundation and GNOME Foundation to tighten their relationship, by
exchanging seats in their Advisory Boards
