Exactly!!
This is a great feature not commonly found in other office software.  It allows
the flexibility to configure the LO UI text independently of the OS/DE text
which might be desired for any number of reasons. Choice is good. Among the key
reasons I use Calc over Excel is that Calc offers a higher level of UI options
and easily available customization.
