Such option is called "Bild freistellen" in German. In content it would be a
combination of the tools "contour editor" and "color replacer". Considering how
bad these two dialogs are currently maintained, I doubt, that there will be a
developer who implements such tool. Nevertheless, I think it is a valid
request.
