Cannot reproduce with 
Version: 6.1.0.3
Build ID: 6.1.0-2
CPU threads: 2; OS: Linux 4.18; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2; 
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

And I don't see a reason why this action is not executed immediately. So this
is not a UX feature.
