We see here the problem I mentioned in my comment 3: the merging operation is
lossy. The original table *had 6 rows*. Thus, your unmerge was not successful.

Let's ask UX team anyway, if a "simple unmerge" would be desirable (ie. "The
Rows You See Are What You Get" -type of thing).
