Not sure if I'm supposed comment on the artwork, but related to Intro/splash
screen.. 

I like the first and second alternative the most (so yellow 7 and blue 7
variant)
* The yellow is most neutral. 
* Related to your main choice & third ("blue") variant. I'm seeing a formula,
chart, base icon. I relate those to Math/Calc/Base. In my perception I'm
missing an "impression Writer, Impress, Draw). Not saying it is necessary to
have reference to every module. And I don't like the 3D pie chart around the 7.
